Chardonnay 79 a commencé comme un challenge pour Louis L.: celui d'écrire, composer, enregistrer et produire 6 chansons en une semaine. Le résultat est Lower your Self-Esteem, le premier EP de Chardonnay 79.

L'aventure s'est poursuivie à noël 2018 avec la sortie de The Only Way I Know How, un second EP, disponible sur Deezer et Spotify, qui explore la danse infernale des guitares dissonantes et des synthés planants.
